The original building dates back to 1945 and was entirely remodeled and modernized in 2011. This spacious house has its own separate, ground level entrance. Rooms are on the first, second floors. The entrance leads to the light living/dining area with a bright wooden floor, and a fully equipped kitchen, with dishwasher, full oven and plenty of nice cabinet space with granite counter-tops and a kitchen bar. The living/dining-area has large windows. The second floor has a very nice balcony, where the master bedroom is. The Balcony is facing south and can be shaded by an awning. There is also a Terrace where you can put your bbq and nice outdoor furniture, see photo with grass. I had a large umbrella for the Terrace, but you can leave it open if you like the sun.

The house is located in Wiesbaden, with in walking distance of a Lidl grocery store, walking distance from a winery, walking distance from a bakery, walking distance from a shell gas station, walking distance from bars, restaurants, and downtown Wiesbaden, and a 7 min drive of the river Rhine. It is about a 5 min drive to the autobahn 66, and 643. It's a 20 min drive to Frankfurt Airport, 25 min drive to downtown Frankfurt, and right across the street is a bus stop, if needed to get to the hauptbaunhof (train-station). Kindergarten, primary school and a comprehensive / secondary school are in town. There are restaurants, shopping facilities, doctors, pharmacies and banks as well. The surrounding hills and forests offer plenty of (walking) trails. Due to the good travel connections, it will take approx. Wiesbaden Hauptbaunhof (train station) about 7 min bus ride to the nearest train station, there is one in Biebrich, called Wiesbaden Ost, and about 15 min bus ride to Wiesbaden Hauptbaunhof. Although we have a bus stop across the street, you can still get on at the bus stop 1 block down the street, which are direct lines to for certain places in Wiesbaden, and Frankfurt.
